Second Free Microloan Funded!

We passed the $50 mark today which means that we had enough money to fund the second microloan here. This one went to Edirisa Bukenya Group who runs a general store in Uganda:

It’s great to see that we have been able to fund another microloan and hopefully there will be many more in the near future. You can follow all the microloans that we give out at the FreeMicroloan Kiva Page.
Thank you for the support and the participation in doing small things to make the world a little better. We just received this months major payout of repayments and so there has been a ‘run’ on the available loans – but not to worry, there is always someone coming up that needs help. For anyone who hasn’t checked out Kiva yet, ThinkMTV is giving away a free $25 gift certificate to fund a loan.
The terms and conditions state the gift certificates expire April 29, 2009, so I think the offer is still good.
